How to play SuperOver
Learn how to play SuperOver: read real cricket scorecards, find six hidden batters, use clues and compare your daily score. Try the free England demo.
Six scorecards. Six hidden players.
Each SuperOver is made from six real cricket innings. One batter is hidden on each scorecard. Read the batting figures, bowling spells and match details, then search for the missing player and choose their name.
- Choose Club, Pro or International. Club gives you more match clues. Pro and International reveal less, so more of the challenge rests on your cricket knowledge.
- Make your guess. You have up to six guesses for each question. The search suggests players as you type; select the player you want to submit.
- Use a hint when you need one. Check its run cost before revealing it. Hints help you solve the innings, but reduce the runs you can earn.
- Finish your over. Work through all six questions to record your total. If an innings has you beaten, choose “I’m stumped” to take a wicket and move on.
Build your score
In the Club demo, a correct first guess earns six runs. Later correct guesses earn four, three, two, one or zero runs. Hints reduce that question’s score. Six perfect first guesses make a 36-run practice over.
Daily games show their scoring breakdown when an innings ends. Finish all six questions to compare your score on the daily leaderboard.

Can I try SuperOver without an account?
Yes. The England demo on the homepage contains six fixed practice questions. Your demo progress lasts while the page stays open. An account saves your daily game progress and lets you compare scores.
